Why did this happen?
This change was made due to the need for standardization across the SSM Health EMS Program's learning management system. This system is used by 28 departments across southern Wisconsin and is expected to continue to grow. Because many users of this system work at multiple departments, we need to standardize user accounts, including user names, so that when someone who works at this department also works at another agency, they can use the same account. This prevents them from potentially repeating training already completed elsewhere, among other benefits.
